The playlist that’s been getting me through editing

I’m not the kind of writer who can work in silence. Weirdly, I find it way more distracting and end up antsy and unfocused and, as I’m prone to a healthy dose of procrastination more often than not, this gives me carte blanche to spend far longer than I should curating a playlist for such purposes. Editing is exactly the same; I need to be so inside the world I’ve created, absorbed in the story, the characters, embedded so deeply I can see it play out in my head, that the mood has to be set before I can start hacking away at my prose.
For The Bone Fairy I’ve had the same playlist since its conception, only adding on a couple of songs here and there over the YEARS that it’s taken to get it this far. I thought I’d list it below - a fun little crumb of the vibe, and I’ll update it later to tag specific scenes or chapters that each song set up in my head.
